I got a fully rebuilt 1600 kent and a fully rebuilt 2.0 litre cortina 2.0 litre in the shed, heavy blocks!

Yea they sure are, we got a 1600 Pinto, out of a cortina, cast iron head alone is serious weight in comparison to a 1400 CVH I own.

Im sure a Kent is a Crossflow basically, with just a redesigned cylinder head from the original, but generally the Crossflow is called a Kent.

So is the 1300 pretty worn? simple setup single 40/40 downdraught weber with extractors, the 40/40 twins were made in africa? or was that the 45's? the ones made in africa are pretty rubbish apparently, a 1600 kent with sidedraughts and trumpets out the side would look cool! if you were looking for a engine replacement rather than a rebuild ofcourse!
