My CVT is acting up, any advice?

I posted my old starbird kart a lil while ago and now we put the engine on wood 2x6 blocks and put a "Ameetaa" cvt on it. Has the most good ratings on Amazon, and I've used one before and it was good.

So the problem is: It opens up the cvt maybe 75% under load, and it takes forever. Also, only goes like 15 mph. With a clutch it went about 25 to 30. The engine is almost 7 hp Briggs and Stratton. All I can think is the belt is garbage or the driver pulley is garbage. Ideas??

pictures are screenshots from a video i took revving it while holding the back off the ground. Opens all the way without load but when driving it takes about 10 seconds full throttle to open only 75%. Please help!! I want to get this thing driving before the snow storm so I can act a fool.

And what is your gear ratio.
Count the teeth on the axle and the jackshaft.
Let us know. Rear tire size also helps.

It is the same amount of teeth on the output of the cvt as on the centrifugal clutch so I figured there would be no issue. Tire is i think 10 inch, real small. The kart is at my friend's and i don't have access. But I know it had no issues with acceleration with the clutch and it has a standard size sprocket. It would have to be between 50 and 60 since top speed was 25 ish mph

Might just be me, but in your 2nd picture it almost looks like the inner sheve is a bit crooked. If this is the case, than more than likely it is the outer bell ( the cover piece ) is not set correctly on the inner slider. That's the heavy cast piece with the four clover leaf corners. On one end it has a very short boss ( about .050" ) tall. One side is milled flat and the other end with the boss is rounded top and bottom and milled straight on both sides. This shape corresponds with the hole in the outer bell piece. Easy to get the cast piece on backwards if you're not watching for it. Even if install right sometimes the cover doesn't mate up properly with the boss. I have had this happen to me and it affects the way the clutch performs.

...explaining what it's doing wrong
...& what it could do, to make the situation...better
...& "if" it keeps acting up, maybe try a 30 min "time out"

is this bolt broken? Or the threaded hole stripped out? Something looks off.

Got a brand new belt to punish him with and he ate it up!!!

Take a pic of the driven unit fron a top and side view. I'm curious if you have the rub block backwards.

I'd look to make sure that both units move freely and don't bind.
