Had the Coleman since before the 1st of the year. First I added header, improved intake, jets and tube, removed throttle stop screw. With these changes and a grabby clutch I could not keep the front end on the ground, so I cut the frame and stretched it 6" to 48" wheelbase.
Great improvement in steering and handling. Then I took off the crappy tires that come on the scoot and installed BKT AT108's ( 20X7-8's), a big improvement in handling, the *** end no longer wants to slip out from under me. Had to lay out and drill new holes on a 60 tooth rear gear for the Coleman, another big improvement.
Cut the front forks, ordered DOM tubing and springs and made a springer front end.
To do:
TC probably a jackshaft
remove governor improve brakes
head work and more
ARC rod & flywheel

It takes me a few days to reply sometimes, since I get to a computer twice a week.

The only new change was to swap out the 27lb front fork springs for 31lb and it was an improvement in ride and handling.
Probably the last change until I purchase a TC for the scooter.

I am thinking that I will not do too much more on my Coleman, because I have an idea on a new mini-bike design base on the design of my trike.
As soon as the trike is complete I will be starting on a new mini-bike.
Will get pictures posted sometime, somehow.

Leo1287 what is a grabby clutch? Is it a brand name or a certain type of clutch?

Neither, "grabby" is a description of what the clutch is doing. It would appear to be engaging too early, at low engine revs. You want it to grab somewhere in the middle of the throttle curve basically.

The clutch is not grabby due to lack of oil. Maybe it is just me and no experience with centrifugal clutches. What I am saying is that the clutch does not seem to grab gradually, but quickly. Good way to end up on butts.

Clutch is stock, by-the-by.

Probably will not be doing any more to the Coleman.
I have a plan in mind for a heavy duty mini and will start it after my trike is up and running.
I appreciate the Coleman (started me on this trip) and will sell it after completing my new mini.
