I don't know why you did that or what you expected to find in there besides what's there. You could have looked at a diagram instead. Now you need a new gasket...
needs to be removed in order to remove the side cover...
(would stick on the bolted crankshaft gear otherwise)
Or.. just curiosity ;)

I can affard a gasket. No need to worry.

a new crankcase assembly 11400-z1d-600:

and a new crank shaft 13310-zh9-811:

maybe gaskets (as you feel ned to be replaced) and you'll be set.

You can use the numbers to trace down some aftermarket parts or used parts on ebay etc and maybe able to save some money.

I need to set the brakes up properly before I do any test runs. It idles slow enough that it doesn't move when I have a wheel chock. I'll set up a brake lock for start up. Thanks for the advice.
