Thought I'd share my Kart from when I was a kid. I bought it from a friend who'd outgrown it. It's now waiting for my boys to get big enough to drive it.

It's a Rupp, but I don't know anything beyond that. Maybe some of you experts can chime in on some details.

I couldn't tell you how many miles i put on this as a youth. It was the basis of my first engine rebuild when the 5 horse dropped a valve. It's probably responsible for my lifelong hobby of being a gearhead!

It's a 70's Rupp fun kart originally powered by a tecumseh 4 HP
I still have mine with the original engine (rebuilt) my 11 yo daughter rides the h3ll out of it. It was built based off the A-bone frame but with a narrow steering hoop and wrap around floor pan, squared off see back, and a 4 stroke engine mount.
The one you have has incorrect Azusa peddles on it, but otherwise looks to be a fine specimen, certainly worthy of a restore project.

Thanks for the info. I taught myself how to do a 360 spin while maintaining forward motion on a dirt road near the house as a kid, then a couple years later I did it in my dad's Ford Ranger! Thanks Rupp Kart!
