This is a kart I've been working on over the past few months. I started out helping a kart racing buddy of mine build my motor, its a 6.5 clone with arc billet rod and flywheel, ported and shaved head, bp2 cam, bored and ported carb off a 13hp Honda engine, and header with a rlv muffler. I run it on methanol and its making around 20hp. I added a mcp brake system which is a very nice setup. As far as the kart it started out as a streaker 465 s is the model I think. I've done quite a bit of modifying to the frame which include stretching it 6 inches behind the seat, made a new motor mount and relocated it to the right side to run my sprocket within the frame. I had to fabricate mounts for the disk brake setup, and with no room for a gas tank I mounted the race style tank up on the steering hoop. I used the original 1 inch axle so I had to cut new key ways for the sprocket and brake rotor. This kart is a hot rod in the yard with the gearing at a 12-74 I can turn the motor around 8500rpm's. I'm wanting to run it in the yard kart class at a few dirt kart tracks. I'm still planning to put 2 new tires on the front like the ones on the rear and add a fiberglass kart racing seat and I'm hoping to tear it down to paint this winter. I've put a lot of time into this project and really enjoyed it. The first picture is the first frame I had but my motor was too much for a one wheel peel lol
