hi thought i would stick up a few photos of my buggy as it sits at the minute, it has a 13hp honda gx390 engine, which i plan to change for something else

as u can see its in the middle of getting painted,but a great job but its nmot for winning shows

If u can get a comet 40 and fit that up it would be good too

it runs but it needs a new belt for the comet 44, should get enough cash from the torque coverter and engine to purchuse a new engine

U don't want something too big

nah ur right, im from scotland uk

the gx390 is a good bombproof engine but has no acceleration from a stand, got to be 2 stroke whatever i find

Given the size & weight, I was thinking closer to 400 - 500cc. You think that would be too much?

You may find that the current gearing is a bit low so, you have lots of top speed but lousy acceleration.

With the correct gearing, a 4 stroke & multi speed trans will scream

Dang fine start! Install a bike or sled engine, and lose the car wheels (if feasible).

the wheels would have to stay at the minute as theres not much else that would work, may just get some off road tyres

would have to be a bike engine as we dont have sleds lol

Great little buggy! Looks just like a simplified version of what I'm building, would be fun on the trails.
