He doesn't know what it is, but we think it might be some kind of Murray. It's got an 8hp tecumseh on it. I sat on it, it feels too cramped for an adult. It'll need work on the band brake, and maybe some motor work since he hasn't run it yet.

Yes, it's a Klipper Kart. It's nicely made, but chances are you'll never get the hubs, sprocket and brake drum off. The biggest issue I have found with them is that the brake pin bends. Also the mount for the brake pin. It's easy to straighten out. Fun & fast kart!

Yeah the anchor pin for the brake band is bent, causing the band to be half off the hub. Plus the brake rod has been replaced at some point. Hopefully in the spring it fires up with no issues.
