i have bigger things to take care of first .

That was kind of my point. Personally, it looks like this- I'm 38, married with two kids. That alone hurts the free time. I have then spent almost all summer working 5 days a week at my regular job, and alternate weekends renovating my grandmother's house so it can be sold. The opposing weekend have been spent working my regular job, as well as other things. To top it, I have just moved- while working 7 days a week. AND- I've been hired to paint the place I just moved out of, while somehow trying to sort out the place I just moved into.

Yeah- I got projects on hold. I haven't touched my kart in months- still sitting there engineless. My boat trailer and utility trailer are incomplete. I was starting to convert my ski boat for fishing duty and that's at a standstill too.

In short- life has a way of *&^%ing up your plans. C'est la vie.

MUD-This concept is so dam nuts, and is so close to stomping around. Man, you need to sleep on it before you chop it up. I'd say, get that darn clutch in there and put all the *****in neigh sayers back in arm their chairs. They will all be drooling and dumbfounded! This thing is killer and it looks almost done. My 2 cents, you'd make more selling it finished and running than you'd save choppin it for the next big project. Either way, your vision and skills far exceed most including my own.-RUST

i would rust but ive already pulled n sold the three different engines i was thinkin on using for it. it makes an awesome garge decoration whenever i have parties (pretty much every weekend since the divorce!), everyone has to ask about it . my hours at work get cut in half or less in the winter so im trying to keep money aside to get back on this project but at the moment its just not there. i will keep you guys posted as soon as i get back at this thing

what transmission/trasfer case did you use?

the trans/t-case thats under the vette cart is a transaxle from a bigger lawn tractor thats been narrowed and turned sideways

the setup that is planned for the legend build is run the 5 spd motorcycle trans mated to a 5 spd sami trans and probably a sami t-case. ive been tossing around the idea of using the divorced pto box as a t-case for it or making one:huh:

thinkin about selling this beast guys, with or without tires.... takin offers. working 90 hrs a week and don't see myself having any time for this thing for a long while, also gathering parts to build a new mudtruck out of a 77 ford stepside i recently bought so the extra$$$ couldn't hurt.

Its awful tempting to put in a bid of 2 to drive the price up!
:roflol:

But really, I do hope you get a decent amount from it...

I wonder how many people are bidding on the tires that are listed in the title, but aren't going with it.
