Ok I have went to the MXK, and got some of his plans.

For the offroad kart,

My question is, THE frame that he has for this will it fit a engine from 8 to 15hp, and will it be able to ride the same as a 5-6hp.

what I mean by this will it stay on the ground and drive clean?

And will I have to do some changes to the frame?

i dont know if you have to chang the frame but pobably not if your putting on a smaller engine than rccomended. and yes it means it wont be terring up grass and wearing out tires.

sorry dude I worded that wrong, I am sure it is made and the drawings are made for a 5-6hp engine, I was thinking about 8 or if I can get my hands on a 14hp

in that case you probably would have to change it. changes could range from bumping the engine forward an inch to having the engine in a completely differtent spot

maybe like i said the # of changes and how big they are all depend on on the change in engine size, and how compacked the frame is. from the pictures on the mxk website it looks like making your frame a little loner or moving the seat forward would be the easyest but both have dissadvantegas. structural if you make it longer and the fact that you may not fit in the kart if you move the seat. another problem is the mounting plate bolt pattern would be different than a 6hp engines bolt patern. good luck
