Here's the throttle cable set up, something along these lines is proper. A 12t clutch will make your ratio higher, 10t is the best you'll get on a clutch in your chain pitch. Did you get the axle sprocket teeth counted today? That sprocket can make all the difference if it doesn't have enough teeth.

You're killin me here. If you can get some detailed pictures of how the throttle cable is hooked up on both ends, and get that sprocket tooth count for me, I'm still shooting in the dark trying to help you out!

Sounds like the clutch is finished. I've had this problem before. Depending on what you use it for you might want to add a torque converter. They aren't as easy to install as the videos you watch though so if you don't need a lot of power Id stick with the clutch. All the videos are perfect case scenario and can get a bit frustrating. Tooth count and figuring sprocket ratio can be confusing to. I need to read and see if you solved this problem but to me its a bad clutch.

Issue is, it's a one wheel peel and a t/c wont fit without modifications. I had one just like it and a cc is the only option with factory setup. Plus, O.P. hasn't been around in a month, maybe didnt want the help so bad after all.

Keep it simple: Get a new clutch with a 10-tooth gear. Depress your gas pedal all the way and see if it moves the throttle on the engine as far as you can manually move it by hand via the throttle lever on the engine. If not, fix your cable.
