Hey everyone! Since I have been posting about info on my Murray Kilowatt, I figured I would post a pic of it. Believe me, this is a rare photo! About as rare as the buggy itself. This is NOT my buggy or pic. Mine is identical to it and I will post a pic of mine soon. Cheers...:sifone:

PS: I'm 6'4" and 240lbs and I fit pretty good in it especially in the leg room dept...

Hey, i have a kilowatt got it for cheap, but it didnt come with a belt and i cant seem to find what kind it needs anywhere. so i was wondering if you know what type of belt it takes and best place to get it from? Also im having trouble with the gas petal, when pushed in it doesnt seem to do anything. i havent had much time to really look to see what i could do to fix that, but if you have any suggestions please let me know. Also im a big guy wondering if you have any cheap tricks for getting as much power out of the motor as i can? thanks anything helps

Pics of Carb... does yours have a choke?

Hey Guys,

I picked up a Murrary Kilowatt in nice shape this weekend for $600. I like the design and bought it to use as a benchmark for the kart frame of the Dune Cat new bodies we are producing.

My question is of the carb on the Techumseh sport 6.5HP, does yours have a choke? Mine does not... only the throttle air valve. It just has a primer plunger on the carb which is cool, but no substitute for a choke.

This is a well constructed machine. I am impressed. It is a shame the original company is no longer around.

Fabroman,

I hear you, and know you recommend people not to respond to old threads. I figured the owners on this thread might have a chance to reply.

...Except that the most recently active member in this thread hasn't been active in over 2 years; sort of negates your argument, doesn't it? :lolgoku:
