Thanks MWKarter that would be very helpfull, trying to make sure of the rim size needed for the calibers to clear when mounted, if I decide to do this I'll take pictures of the process for everyone to follow.

Probably will not help you much, because mine has rack and pinion steering and the same 130 mm diameter disks with 8 inch rims. And yes, M10 studs 4 places on 110 mm B.C. Let me know if pics or measurements will help.

Pulled the trigger on the disc brake kit, a master cylinder for the foot brake and a 18” hose with banjo ends, it begins lol!
Thanks again MWKarter for the rim od info!

You are welcome. Looks like basically the same setup as on the Kandi kart. I took a lot of other pictures, but did not know if you really needed them. Except, mine has a three way fitting to power the rear disk also. No proportioning valve, but then we pretty much just run it on our backyard dirt track for now. I like copper crush washers for banjo’s.

Plan on keeping the manual disc brake on the rear and put the master cylinder so it ties into the brake pedal and try and adjust it that way for the best braking. Putting a 440 cc duromax on the kart so figured better brakes would be wise. I’m part of a bunch of gray beards buying and building karts to play on a buddies 1/2 mile track he’s building thru the fields and woods (think camera’s and cars on utube) on his farm, second childhood lol, thanks for the help brother!
