Location
where the GO Kart paths are a plenty
Hello everyone
Picked up a Go Kart to rebuild/restore.
I really enjoy it as a hobby not sure what I got into with this one.
Well to start the rear live axle is broken where it connects to the right rear wheel so I'm trying to find the cheapest or easiest way to fix it. Also the frame has a right side crack in the weld but I can probably get someone to weld it.
.
I need some tips or ideas on how to fix the rear axle.
I see places like northern sell an axle and other sites as I browsed around here, any ideas please?

If its easier to turn this into a one side drive I'd want to consider that option also.

On the same tire/ rim assembly as the pic shows what works good to seal the turf tire to the rim?

Thanks

Air.

If you have continual leaking you might have rust on the inside of the rim and that will have to be addressed either by grinding it off and repainting it or getting new rims.

More pics! Let's see the whole kart so we can ID it and see what you're working with.
