My cousin has a stock murray explorer poorly maintained so the stock tc exploded and is missing many parts is there a way i can convert the jack shaft to chain driven they are poor hill billys and im a poor city redneck

You can likely buy a Chinese 30 series torque converter on eBay for cheaper than you can get a centrifugal clutch and the right sprockets

How much because we both have no money to spend right now and i have stuff to convert it
What stuff? I'm sure you're aware that gear ratio is everything but should be clutch to jackshaft sprocet and jackshaft axle. And what about the tc is exploded?

The tc is in peices and most parts are lost we have the backing plates and the front plates all other stuff is gone
But i have a clutch chain and some hardware to convert it just need a sprocket

I would save the money you will spend on a sprocket and wait till you have enough cash for a replacement TC. Changing from a TC to CC nearly ALWAYS ends badly and with frustrated people

Ill tell em 50$ and ill fix it for them also ill get a tc for my next build mabey
