Hey guys,

Okay I picked this go kart a week ago, saying needing a belt replaced ,

Okay so I replaced the belt and did a oil change and replaced the main fuel line running from the tank to the carb with fresh gas, and put in a new ngk spark plug

In the begging it would roll over and not crank, so I pulled the carb and cleaned it, and now it will start and run but only when I'm chilling it..... And just in case the motor is a tecumseh engine models ohh50-65 , it's a 6.5 hp motor, I'm not to familiar with go kart motors, but know enough to change parts,

If need be I can add a video of what I'm talking about, but in your alls opinion where should I start trying to troubleshoot this?

Your off to a good start.
Is there a fuel filter? If not I would get one.
I'm going to assume you didn't get the carb fully cleaned. There's tiny holes in there that need to be absolutely clean. The main jet and emulsion tube are probably where your issue is.
You can get it to idle but it won't Rev up? If I read you right.

Basically I can keep the motor going by covering the air box side of the carburetor with my hand, the moment I move my hand at all it cuts off, I tried readjusting the idle spring with little to no luck, sooo I'll try the carb cleaner once more or I'll can replace the whole carb on Amazon for 20$, I noticed theres no obvious way to pull the jets to clean them in the carb, unless im over looking it, does that sound right for a Tecumseh carb?, I'm half tempted to buy a predator and throw on it, but the motor on this cart seems like its in good shape, only reason I havent yet, it's aggravating lol

Side note, does any 1 have a diagram or a pic of the spring setup under the carbs, id like to replace those to if I can find a place to buy them

Post some pics so we can see what your working with.
Sounds like your carb is still not clean. You have to disassemble it completely push little wires or used compressed air to clean the jets out.

Those tecumseh carbs can be a pain. A slide carb works way better than the stock ones do anyways but you have to convert the pull cable.

For $27 that looks like an inexpensive fix. You probably should order one. If I were in your shoes I would.
