I have a Murray Explorer I just bought . The kart is in great condition but is missing the rear driven unit. I just need to know if the kart came with the 6in 30 series driven or the 7in 30 series driven?

It doesn't matter which you order. the 7" has more torque than the 6"

As far as I know, but you MUST meet the following criteria-
Both units must be of the same design (symmetrical, or asymmetrical), and the belt specifications are the same.
