Your relay should wire up like this diagram, let us know if you need more help.

ps: your black headlight wires are the grounds.

Also If you simply use a heavy duty switch (rated at 15amps or higher, available at radio shack) you could skip using that relay and wire the switch directly to both of your white headlight wires. Just make sure you instal the fuse near the 12 volt + power source in case anything shorts out.

Great diagram, Anderkart! I think the only think it might not cover is the switch- I think it's a lit switch, might confuse someone.

OK... This isnt working:( The red is the ONLY one that can connect with the wires except for the blue... look at the pics showing the red and black wires...

By tripping off to your favorite auto parts store, and buying a package of assorted crimp-on terminals.

Cook47, we need a better look at things. Perhaps you have the right connectors, but are not using them in the right places.

seriously? ok the blue is the wire to the battery, hence the big ring, the other end goes on the switch, the one red wire should have a spade and a 2 bullet connector, this hooks to one light, and the black wire should have two bullets and a fork for grounding, that go between the lights. the relay should have at least 2 more wires with it. it looks like what you have is a wiring kit for lights without a relay, and a relay, unless your holding out on us.

1. did you read the instructions before you threw them out?
2. if the two schematics didn't make this pretty well clear enough to fill in the holes, IE, understanding that your wire color may vary but the layout would be the same, you might not be able to pull this off.

B man, great job on both wiring diagrams and examples, thanks for your efforts
