I am very confused on how to mount a sprocket onto my rear live axle. I know you must have a keyway on the engine in order to mount the clutch, but there is no keyway on the axle.....So how do you mount the sprocket on a live axle?

Thanks

The axle if 1" traditionally has a 1/4" keyway. What sort of axle are you using?

Additionally if you've got no keyway, perhaps you could just weld the sprocket in place..

Anytime. Google search the company Azusa Engineering. They're great people and really the only true source for karting axles and sprockets.

My theory about welding sprockets to axles regards a last ditch effort. If its needing to be welded, then it usually will need to be cut in pieces in the future. I do know better, its what we do.
