Mounting Pillow Blocks

Hi all, getting deeper into this rebuild of a manco American cruiser for my daughter. I am close to mounting the 1" pillow block bearings for the solid axle and am kind of stuck. I may be over thinking it but here we go, I will be mounting the bearings to the under side of the frame but I am having trouble trying to figure out the best way to make a bracket to avoid boring through the round tubing of the frame. This things heavy and I don't want to cause any weak points. Please send photos or suggestions. Many thanks.

It would help more if you post pictures of what you are working with. It depends on which style pillowblock you are using.

Pics for sure, but you could always weld a bracket onto the frame that the pillow block will then bolt to

Heres a pic of the rail the bearing will mount to. It will be right behind the band brake bracket. Also a pic of the pillow block I have ordered. Thanks guys.

Just weld a piece of nice square tubing to the side and drill the holes in the tube for the blocks.
