Oh man, you need 3/16 plate minimum for the bigger clones and a outer bearing.
Dump those bearings with the stamped housing and use cast bearings.

Thats my plate, it's also braced as it still flexed with 3/16. I also added the bearing to the outside where the sprocket is, it wrapped badly under acceleration.

For the love of god why are you digging up old posts, dont be a grave digger,

5trucks - I now do not like you. The lobes precede the buttons on the driven clutch and it is using the proper YELLOW spring which denotes outboard mounting position instead of the RED mounting spring which would be for inboard. Don't dig up any posts older than 3 weeks ever again unless you personally are involved in them.

Slideways - This scares me too.

WOW! Man i totally missed all the yellow spring crap. I didn't think to read what he posted because i have never seen a yellow spring for the 40. I have always used the red. My mistake. Blazkowiez, don't hate your fellow Texan! Sorry for dredging up old posts.

You'll have to bring me a case of Shiner Bock as repentance. In the future, look down the clutch from above and see which way it winds. I've considered painting springs crazy colors just to mess with people but the winding never lies.
