Been thinking about it for a while, finally got most of my parts and went to work. Manco rear end that I found at the junkyard with a bike front end I got from my neighbor. 1.5 inch thick walled square tubing to attach the two. 6.5 predator on the back with a 7.556 gear ratio to some 18 inch golf cart tires. Only going to top out at 25mph but it's more of a off road crawler. I'm trying to upload pictures so hopefully y'all can see it. If not tell me and I'll try again.

Hmm, I can see a few potential hang ups myself.

Might want to look into a tc, or rework your gear ratio. I'm just thinking 18" tires, 7.5:1 gear ratio, off road, gonna have problems doing anything but flat land, and maybe problems then as well.

Second, while I don't mind front facing trikes for on road... they're already unstable as is. Taking that into an offroad condition...yikes. keep it wide to minimize tipping and such.

That's about the speed you would have for a flat driving yard kart, not anything to be taken off road, or even off pavement for the most part.

15-17 mph would be fine for a max final speed with a centrifugal clutch, like the baja heat/warrior bikes are geared to for off road. Anything above that and you will be wishing you got a torque converter.

The off roading im talking about is mainly riding through ditches and through a couple of mild trails we have in the woods. Not really major hills or anything too tough. I guess I'll see In a couple of weeks weather or not it performs well with this ratio. If not a TC it will be.

Off road trike UPDATE

Torque is GREAT despite what some said. Spins tires from a stop and clibes hills with ease. Golf cart tires did better than I thought offroad only getting me stuck once. Turning is HORRIBLE on pavement but GREAT offroad and I actually have a better turning radius than I thought. Can do donuts and drive great on slick grass. Will try to post videos on my YouTube account very soon. Here are some pictures. :wai: :wai:
