motorcycle engine in cart

ecu is an engine control module. a computer that controls things like fuel injection and some other things. sensors are hooked up to it. its also called a pcm or power control module

I mean... so many of these awesome engnes from motorcycles that id love to drop in a kart... are ecu controlled in motorcycles. is there a way around the ecu? it just seems to ad complexity to a project. rather not make something complex if I don't have to.

U could do any with the ECU

Bit Then the engine won't run or even start


The ECU is as said
Engine control module
It controls everything the engine does

U simply control air flow into the engine
The computer does everything else

In some newer cars u don't even do that
U simply push a pertentiometer and the computer revs the engine in a way it deems fit
