motorcycle engine hook ups

I just finished my first project and am ready to take on a full size buggy. i have a vw frame and im looking at motorcycle engines for the power plant like a 600 or 650 with the 5 speed trans anyway how do i go about hooking everything up like the clutch and throttle

Your ready to tackle a big project but you dont know how to set up clutch and throttle? Just buy some longer cables and run them to your pedals.

Instead of a Motorcycle engine why not a normal VW engine or a corvair engine?

well im not set on the bike engine yet but it seems like the easiest to get my hands on because the vw frame im going to buy dosent have the original motor and i asked about the hook ups because iv never driven a bike nor have i ever looked at one up close i was just making sure that it could be done

if really considering motorcycle engine, consider atv engine, they have reverse!
