Does anyone know what type of motor this is? This is the only picture I have of it.
Thanks

Honda gs series. Over head cam driven by a small timing belt.

I've got 1 that's been under the work bench a few years now.

They probably make some sort of Chinese clone of it.

Not a good kart or mini bike engine, the exhaust blows out opposite of other engines.

They are good utility engines.

I looked at the 1 I have, after clearing the cob webs off, it's a gc160 model.

If I remember correctly, been awhile since I've worked on those OHC engines, the GS model has a steel sleeve for industrial/ commercial use, while the GC has the aluminum bore, for light duty work.

I would pay $20, if it started, but I have customers that's always looking for pump, compressor engines, and it would go to a new home....quickly.

By all means get it if you like it. They are OK for minibikes and karts, there's just very little in aftermarket hop-up parts for them. If you want a stock putt-putt-putt around engine, it will serve well.

....the exhaust blows out opposite of other engines.

Well that's the charm of it. My Honda XR also has the exhaust blowing the wrong way (stupid Japanese!) but they were clever about it and added a 180° bend in the pipe to direct the gases backwards.

Plus, it's an OVERHEAD CAM (at only 160cc's) 🤩, most every other engine is overhead valve with clanky pushrods. Plus it's a vertical up-n-down cylinder orientation and not canted over.
