Motor not responding to gas pedal

the throttle cable is pulling the governor, but the throttle isint returning,and your linkage from the motor to the pedal is off

I do not understand what you mean by my linkage is "off". Could you explain it to me barney style since this is all still very new to me.

Throttle not working?

Did you get this problem fixed? I have basically the same problem on my manco starbird. every thing is hooked up but i must have missed something. you can see my post on the main go kart forum.

No I have not had a chance to work on it at all, due to family life and the "honey-do" list.
