motor is crazy

The other say I attached a 80cc 2stroke to a minibike.started up fine, revved good and as I was walking it to the street the motor when nuts and ran at full bluetongue I fumbled input to kill it..

Please can someone help me figure this out

is it your throttle cable? not sure with 2 stroke engines since i never work on them but my mini bike has done that to me because of the throttle

Could it be something like a binding throttle cable when you turned the wheel? With the engine off can you turn the wheel and watch the throttle input on the carb?

Yeah I'd definitely check throttle cable. Seems like its either in a bind with the under side of tank, routed wrong, or slide could be stuck. I actually thought my 250 was fully loaded wit gas 1 time and as soon as I pulled out of driveway it screamed wide open. Ended up somehow dirt got in my tank and clogged petcock and basically made it simulate running out of gas but also let me know that my jetting was wrong. Check cable tho

I'm not sure where our resident 2-stroke guru is these days, but- maybe check for loose carb or bad carb gasket.

Do you have a slide carb on that?
