hey guys, I am currently looking to upgrade the current 48volt 1500 motor on my eletrick converted go kart and am currently a bit stuck. any motor and motor controller sugestions would be greatly appriechiated

What kind of kart? How much does it and the rider weigh? How much do you want to spend and how much performance do you want?

It is the one in my prophile pic, and the rider weights about 40 kg, my budget is around £150

If you're already running 48v/1500 watts, I don't think you're going to see much of an upgrade if any at that price point unless there is something wrong with your existing setup; that's pretty much your current equipment cost. The typical next step up from MY1020 style motors is quite a bit more expensive, but you could try an unconventional approach and use something like skateboard motors (e.g., https://flipsky.net/collections/e-skateboard).
