so my cousin gave me. well actually i asked for it but that doesnt matter. i need something to do over christmas break.

ok so i got a mid 90's 80cc scooter with the drivetrain in pieces. a box w/ the engine and tc and another one with all the bolts and crap(thats a project in its own)

being a honda that thing has so much electronics on it, they might as well have made it FI.

main thing i'm uncertain about is the carb connections. this is what i THINK, so please correct me if im wrong.
1- pulse filling.
2- fuel in
3- diaphragm. connects to 1

3 to me look's like a drain or overflow.

so 1 and 2 are right then?

3 is the drain points at ground. Thats a float carb.

www.Hondaspree.net All the help/advice you can take in. There is very little electrical on that thing, just the regulator CDI and a couple of relays. CDI is the only electronics it has.

So then what's that pulse looking fitting for? Externall pump? But on a spree the tank is like under the seat I'm pretty sure.

theres this other thing in the box that looks like a fuel pump or a small heat exchanger(def not it though), and it was filled with oil

The pulse fitting is to operate the vacuum operated petcock on the gas tank.

I own a spree, I should know. They can be quit a PITA if you dont know all the little tricks for them. You cant run a spree out of fuel and get it running afterwards without reaching inside and manually choking it. I have NO CLUE why they do this but they do.

i almost got a honda spree
it was an older one
but the reason i didnt get it was BC i was outa town and we forgot to go back and get it when we were leaving
