Thats an old picture, i reinforced them a lot more since. However not enough. I will draw up a design if i have some time.
Btw got the torque converter. Its a beast. However if someone wants to pay all postage, i would swap for a good gondition/ new 30 series genuine comet all complete.

edit: would there be any disadvantage of mounting the tc inboard, eg. have the nut side of the driver pointing towards the engine?
