Mini Trx clutch sticking?

See video link below. Kart turns on ok and will drive, but then will get stuck like this. My son was freaking out when he was riding bc it was moving by itself! Is this a clutch replacement? I tried putting some spray grease but didnt help. Let me know so we can get back to riding!

Sounds like that clutch has had it. Centrifugal clutches hate to be driven off road at various speeds. It’s a good time to upgrade to a Amazon 30 series TAV II CVT and the proper genuine COMET BELT!

Your rear tires are way too big for a centrifugal clutch to last very long. Too much stress trying to turn those tall tires. Do like Denny suggest and get a 30 series torque converter. It's probably cheaper than a new clutch, and will last forever. The cheapies on Amazon work just fine. They're all made in China and there's not any difference from one brand to the next.
