It does appear to be an older style mini-sprint or one of the midget-class oval racers from the 60's/70's. I cant make out much detail from those pics but I'm seeing some square/rectangular tubing in that frame and factory built are usually (but not always) built from all round tubing.

Looks like its got a big driven portion of torque converter from a snow mobile or something back there. If its well built and not all bent up from wrecks that's probably a good deal. I'll bet its pretty heavy so it would probably need a fairly powerful engine to have decent performance.

Here's what you'd expect a fairly modern mini-sprint chassis to looks like:

Here's the factory built midget frame style used over the last 30 years or so:

I guess it has been sold because I can't find the link again. I think your right Anderkart, the backend looks like the pictures you posted but I also questioned the front of the kart. Oh well...I'll keep looking for another project. Still need to finish and sell the Murry 2 seater. :)

I'd say that's well worth it. I get a listing for an 09 Suzuki Hayabusa.

I guess the seller removed the listing because I can't pull it up on CL now. Wish I would have gone out and looked at it sooner.

The ads link is still working just fine for me this morning, do you want me to reply for you?
I could send him your email and/or phone # and explain the situation, you could pm those to me if you dont want to post-em on the thread here.

No it's ok. Without the engine, it would be more then I'm willing to spend getting it up and running. We don't have many sled or other suitable engines around here that are cheap to come by.

Thanks for the offer, that was very kind of you.
