well that tubing looks like about 1" and since the frame isn't triangulated very much i would assume it's 1/8" wall or something thick like that. in the first vid he's only got like an 8 hp on it or something. He put a bike engine on it for the second video. i would go with the bike engine. his looks like a 3-500cc 4 stroke, but you could use a 2 stroke also

Great find. I PMd the builder adking how he welded the axle. He wrote on his comments that he widened it by welding tubing to the axle. I asked how he kept it straight because the axle s are tapered on ATC. I think he got the rear off of a quad or atc. I love the enginuity and use of what he had. If The engine was mounted on the frame it would probably work alot better. Great budget build. Im working on doing something similar with a
200x powerplant and rear axle.
