Hi all. I'm a retired Geezer in Michigan, with too much time on my hands. I picked up a mini pocket rocket, sans engine, at a garage sale this past weekend, and I would like to get it going for my grandson. I have a two cycle Toro snowblower engine that I'd like to use. Is this feasible? The engine is not throttled, so I would have to find a carburator somewhere. Any ideas on that? Also, whats the best choice for drive - friction clutch or torque converter? Grandson is only eight, so I don't want a lot of speed.

Torque converter would be best... or just clutch to sprocket. Make it slower? Smaller wheels, larger gearing...

for a mini rocket, i wouldn't do a TAV... I'd just do a regular clutch. Those things are tiny!
