I am about to embark on a project for my grandson that involves making a jeep replica on a riding mower frame.

I have seen a few different ideas and got a nice idea from rog8811. The only problem with this one is the measurements can't be read from the diagram. I may have to work through it without the specs.

Just wondering if anyone has run across a plan that they find pretty straight forward.

Much appreciation to the members for some very valuable information already gained from reading through numerous posts.

Thanks

He sold it just a couple of days ago btw:

And he has his build log on instructables

(pretty much complete I'd say)

If it's still not working out for you..
send him a PM
With a little luck he can provide you with a higher resolution set of drawings ;)
(he'll get an email alert .. so be patient and let him log in again // last seen aug. '13)

Plans would be cool, alas I have none. Got some good inspiration, though. Check out this old and rather rare factory stock mower. What I wouldn't do for one of these! I don't know a lot about them. Called the "Roof Palomino" and made in the late '60's, IIRC.
