Hi all.... I'm new to the gokart scene but I am a Bronco enthusiast ...so naturally when I saw this I had to have it...it runs..the kc style head lamps work...but I am going to try and really spruce it up and get it back up to par. The battery needs a new location to be mounted inside..and the steering is horrible! Imma pretty strong guy and it takes all I have to get it to turn...any suggestions or comments?? Have u guys ever seen anything like this??!

Gas powered...I checked the steering out last night ..looks really simple..a shaft leading to. 2 tie rods?? I put some lps on them because that's all I had...the wheels moved good by hand..but the steering wheel is all but locked up? Ill get some more photos...thanks for any feedback.

If the steering shaft goes through a plain sleeve at the top and bottom, that is probably the problem. I have had a couple of karts where the steering wheel just didn't move. Penetrating oil may help, but in my case, it didn't. I had to cut the shaft in half, and work each part out of the sleeve, grind off the rust, clean out the sleeve, repaint, lube, install, and weld the shaft back together. It's not as bad as it seems and it will work!

The place I got it from was wanting 650...I ended up giving 500 bucks....I had to have it! Haha I'm gonna paaint it to match my 1990 eddie bauer full size bronco. They told me ford actually had these custom built and they were used as sell gimmicks on car lots...have ne of you ever heard or seen anything that compares ?? Thanks

Looks good man. If it was a dealer promo like they told you then its probly worth some good money restored. Id definately find out some info on it before doing any mods in case its worth some $$$$

What kind of engine is in it? Also, i agree about the shaft being rusted and siezed up. Id try penetrating oil first and work it back and forth to see if that will help.

Are those real headlights, grill and trim?

It's pretty big as well. You scored IMO.

Can you take some pics of the frame, axle and engine? Is there a maker name on the steering wheel? Any stickers? I seen the bigfoot ones but yours is much bigger I think.

Updates on the mini bronco ...

Ok...so I found out some REALLY interesting stuff... the mini bronco is a one of a kind...I googled the dealership decal that was on the back and called them. Turns out the man who owns the ford dealership hand crafted the entire bronco III. he has also made custom cars for wayon jennings and other notable names. It was great to hea his stories and to get some of the history of my mini bronco..he sold it to a man who owned a travelling fair that was in alabama ..he took it back to Tennessee and somehow it made it back to south carolina!! Here's some updated pics.

The guy said he sold it back in the day for 3000 dollars...but it had a customized trailer that came with it. I guess I missed out on the trailer ..but I got the cart for 500 bucks..I'm thrilled with it.

Congrats man, I mean, even if it wasn't a one of a kind, thats still a good deal, and it looks great! A buddy of mine had a mini grave digger, and it sold for quite a bit more.
