It depends on the wheels... Are they from a motorcycle? If so what???
That'll be what to look for, when getting new ones... As in brakes and bearings ect.

Are you buying this or already own it??

The thing that gets me with lists on a bike... Is that there are far more parameters of personal preference than what suits a generic list.

Me for example, I wanted to stand out a bit and set the bar at a reasonable height of achievablility for me...
I set out a basic outline of description of style and components... Set a budget and reasonable cost analysis of materials and components... I chose build..
There's more to it than that... But that's off hand..

Like I said... If the wheel are DOT... then they are by what ever manufacture the bike came from... and the bearing are accordingly

Most pit bikes have telescoping forks (often inverted) with 14" front wheels and 12" rear wheels. finding an old clapped out pit bike would be a good start if you wanted cheap forks and wheels. stunt folk put street tires on 50s and 70s all day long.

finding all that stuff is easy. Building a frame that doesn't get you hurt is hard.

I would also go for a old pit bike. That's what I did. The forks didn't even need any work and I could pretty much use 50% of the frame.

For bearings, I would just go to your local bike shop and buy from there

That is worth $100 to me. wheels, forks, disc brakes and the steering tube on frame all look usable. Seller's attitude appears to stink but I'd still call it a good deal if I were starting a project.

You might even find a usable carb in the box (or buy a new 17mm carb on eBay for $20) to get it running and get your $100 back on CL.

Or use a pitbike motor Many of the pitbikes used Zongshen motors
Zongshen also manufactured some Predator motors for awhile
