Mini chopper frame jig?

i was looking around on the internet becuase i wanted to build a mini chopper with my dad and i want to build a homemade frame.
but i heard you need a "frame Jig" to build it ........ i was wondering on how i can accomplish building one of these ... thanks in advance.

the jig is what you lay all of the frame components into and then weld. It ensures that everything is lined up evenly and each piece comes out the same. Lay out some metal, or use pre determined dimensions to build one. Id say it can be done without one as long as you measure twice, cut once, measeure again, weld and measure again.

Im just about finished my mini chopper, but i didnt use a jig of any sort. i drew it up, went to the shop, cut the metal and started welding. i found that if u have a good size welding table and clamps, also a right type of welder that helps a lot. but most of all have a plan of what mainly is going on, then there will be a point when u can change some thing to suit what ever comes ur way.
