no... only wen your bending it. But i remember an older post saying dont use heat with sand in the tube and the ends capped cause sand has moisture in it. moisture + heat = expand. expand = explode.

ooo i see, but i dont have a bender and i dont think my teacher does either, unless i can convince him to buy one from the schools student fee , i think ide have to settle for torch bending, it will be harder, but i don't wanna spend 60 bucks for a hydraulic bender

why dont you just make one without bends my first one dident haven eny and if i spent a little more time it would have looked nice

yeah, i'd say if you don't want to spend 60 bucks, then just don't bend it. Make sharp angles!
