well, here i go doing two things at once again, but here's what's going on... we have a mini bike frame, and i love bob motorcycles so we're going to attempt to build a bobtail mini bike chopper.

ideas:
use an ATV rear wheel
use a dirt bike front wheel
something close to a 10hp motor w/ auxillary type fuel tank
small motorcycle gas tank/pocket bike tank
maybe like a mountain bike handle bar
white wall tires (probably achieved with tire paint)
working headlights....maybe tail lights, depends on how creative i want to get with this.
low, low, and more low. haha.

btw, there's some sort of serial number on this bike, it's basically all a stripped frame but on this sticker i can make out where it says

"If you write to us about this article or
If you order replacement parts for ________ please
mention this model and serial number
MODEL
361258 NO. 00003246"

anyone have any clue as to what brand mini bike this is, so i can get the right axles and stuff for it? if not i guess i'll just do my best to fab a custom jobby.

I was thinking about a project like this. If I was to do it I would use a Fatcat Or bigwheel rear wheel. They are wide and have built in brakes and sprocket. They are about $100 but you get brakes, hub and sprocket. How much would you spend on those?

Not sure of the sprocket choices though. You would have to make a slot on the swingarm to hold the expanding brake. Pretty simple install and everything is tight.

i have no idea, haha. this is kind of a hobby thing, so probably not too terribly much. right now i'm looking at the cheapest options, what will fit on my frame, etc.... and then going from there. i don't really want it to get too expensive cause i know it's just a toy and it will most likely take a pounding from me... not really into showing go carts or anything, so i just want it to be fast, fun, and relatively cool.

here's what i've figured out, and i need some people's help on ideas for this....

i have a moped in my shed, i could make the fork work on this frame but the wheel is 17"......doesn't bother me so much if i can find at least a 13-15" drive wheel with some decent width to it.....anyone have any suggestions?

my other option is that we have a dirt bike front wheel that would work, and i think i could get the fork to work on this frame too.
it has a 10" rim. which would look better with a 6" rear drive wheel.... problem is, i can't find "bobtail" type tires for that size rim, all i can find is dirtbike tires, and that's not what i want.

i would prefer to have spoked rims as well. the drive wheel doesn't really matter too much i guess, but it would be neat to have both rims spoked like a bike/dirtbike rim.
