How good of a scrounger are you.....This is DIYGK...
Do you have some tools... a welding machine???...

Off hand... Look for one of those 2 wheeled folding kick scooters, Rollerblade's or even an old skate board...Scooters have bigger wheels though...
Find some EMT tubing from a job site, ask for it or maybe brings some pop/beers for a bunch of it...

Im sure a Craigslist facebook ad for those materials might get you more than enough...
In a pinch... a 1-1/2X1-1/2 wooden post and said wheels...
Maybe some paint which might be the most in cost.... If your good... might even find a half dead can, of what ever colour... Free

ya im thinking about what to make it out of but what about the stiffness?dont some have springs or something or does that not matter on a minibike..

It doesn’t need springs. No suspension on a minibike so they aren’t needed. Mine went 2.08 60’ times on the bars with no springs. It registered the 60’ on the back tire and the bars. Mine cost more but it’s in last years build off threads. Mini me dragbike build I think. Or it’s in my pic upper left corner also !

I welded four pieces of flat bar to the frame, then made my wheelie bar removable.
IIRC, I used 3/4" square tubing, 1" flat bar, and 1/2" flat bar (plus some cheap caster wheels). Clevis pins for easy removal. All from home depot.

If I did it again, I would have put the wheels closer to the ground. The front still came up too much to get a good drag launch (not enough to ride the wheelie continuously), but I was afraid of lifting the rear tire off when off roading on hilly areas or in ditches. I guess I could have just removed it when off roading.

Cars and cameras (youtube channel) made some for their mini bike using steel electrical conduit (EMT as suggested above).... I bet you could find a way to bolt it all together, too. Maybe check out their video and get some ideas? And it should be cheap.

As for stiffness, you can always X brace them, or add "gussets" in spots to make them more rigid.

My wheelie bars are going to cost probably closer to $150 by the time they are done, but that's with heim joints, DOM tubing, etc.

Good luck! And keep us posted on what you come up with!
