I have the opportunity to trade a my Ruger Mini 14 stainless steel rifle for a Snap-on Mini Chopper?

What do you folks think? Is there a better built chopper out there to trade for? Is the snapon chopper very well built?

**** around here, that trade would get you at least a 125cc dirtbike.. I wish I had some "home defense" to trade. I'd be getting some great deals!

Keep the Ruger.

...or just send it my way?

Seriously, keep it. There may come a time when you wish you would have kept it. Might think "well I can get another one if I want" that could change too.

Id love to have one of those rifles...
Too bad they didnt make one in 30-06... that would be cool...

I REALLY want a Rem 600 upgraded to a .308 [because .308 can fire 7.62 but 7.62 can't fire .308. Kind of like 5.56 and 223 are.

But im that type of person who enjoys the thought of the more versatile something is, the better of a tool it is!

Thats true.Recently though as Im sure you know of the ammo/scary black gun scare, I couldnt find 223/308 or their counterparts...
Boxes and boxes of 30-06 though. :cheers2:
Sure it was hunting ammo, bout $20 for 20 rounds, but still. It was there. And ofcourse its reloadable. I dont know how much bulk 223/308 is reloadable? I imagine it could get pricy? Ive seen 200rounds of reloadable "surplus" for I think around $100-150, but there was a percentage that wouldnt be any good. I believe you had to be part of some organization to get it though.

I dunno, I just recently got more interested in hunting and buying guns(Remington 700 and 91/30 mosin nagant so far), so theres some stuff I dont know yet haha.

Oh I'm not worried about aquiring another one. I'd trade it for an Enduro dirt bike or a sweet mini bike chopper.

I really really want an AR-15 anyway.

So if someone is in Iowa and wants to trade......
