Mini Bike project: Need help.

I'm trying to build my little brother a mini bike for his birthday, the thing is it's two months away. That's goona go by in a minute, anyway i have never welded or built anything before. I know there are kits but i am going to build it myself (Although that may be a bad idea, haha.) So has anyone got anything that will help me at all i'd like to hear it please. I have a welder, steel tube, wheel's, handlebars, clutch and brake cord, seat. so i need an engine, centrifugal clutch (10T?), Sprocket (60T, 72T?), axle (x2). Does this sound good? Kinda Freestyle build i guess.

If you have never welded before, it may be in your best interest and your brothers id you just buy a pre-welded kit.
If I were you I'd practice welding a while before undergoing such a task, any time you are anyone is going to ride something it must be thoroughly welded securely, experimenting with something for your brother would not be a wise idea.
Start small and hone your welding skills, welding is not like gluing something together, it takes lots of practice, and years to master in some cases.

how old is your brother? and what type of welder do you have?
also what type of welder do you have.
2 months is a short time to build a bike if it is your first project.
Does your brother know you are making it for him? Maybe you could buy all the stuff and present it to him with some designs? and if he likes making things he could help you.
