Mini bike in snow?

I have 2 doodlebugs with 6.5 hp engines and knobby tires. I was thinking about taking them with me to the snow to mess around. Would it be worth it to transport them to the snow? Would it be too slippery? Would I fall alot? Would I have enough traction? Should I get new tires for the snow, and if so which kind? Thanks

Im not sure exactly how much snow but I'm sure about a foot by now. 14.5 in. knobby tires right now. I am having trouble uploading pics right now but I posted a picture on this thread: http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1236
