Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, and had some questions about the Murray Track 2 mini bike I just finished building.

I got the bike for free with its original motor and decided to put my spare predator 212 on it.

On my first ride today all it wanted to do was pop wheelies and I wasnt able to give it much throttle. I was wondering if a different gear ratio would help remove the low end torque to make it easier to ride at lower speeds. right now I have a 10 tooth clutch and a huge sproket in the rear with over 70 teeth.

I would be great if you guys could find me a better sproket for the rear, because going not even half throttle isn't so fun.

Thanks!

That tire is like 15.5" Tall (diameter), right?
You can try to put a 14T sprocket on the clutch or a 55T on the rear.

Do as Bob suggests. Bigger on the clutch sprocket or smaller on the axle one. Whichever is easier for you. It might be easier to get the smaller axle sprocket because then you don't need to buy another chain

Thanks for the replies!
Yes the wheel and tire are 15.5” in diameter.
I have a 55 tooth sprocket on my go kart that I could try later today.
