Mini Bike Drag Race

Guys, ever since I found out about this I've been like sick to my stomach with excitement. I finally found the motivation to pimp out my mini bikes.

2 days..Oct 7th 9am-12pm Gruene Harley.. 2 6ft trophies!!! Stock and Modified!!! Tomb rules apply. Oct 8th 5pm-6pm Billy Bobs 1 6ft trophy.. Pretty much king of the Hill!!!!!! 300 ft concrete drags.. Rat Wagons and wheel barrows will be raced also..

Bring a new unwrapped toy and enter for FREE.

TOMB RULES ARE: Pull start, no transmission. Stock class allows jet, pipe, air filter changes. Outlaw class anything goes.


I hope some of you guys can make it, ill be there for sure.

I have been following those guys on Facebook too for approx. 6 months, they are awesome. We are doing similar things here in Arizona with the " Az mini bike riderZ "
We have about 26 members in Texas including some TOMB members.


But Texas does it BIGGER lol. Enjoy and post vids! Maybe one day the Az mb rZ can come make an event.

Join the facebook group, there is a poll asking how many people are going to race. So far about 16+++ racers in new braunfels tx (gruene) oct 7th, and 5 drag racing mini bikes on the 8th in DFW.

Got one mini bike mocked up, will have to do some more fab work, but the engine fits (just barely)

Biggest PITA getting the engine to fit. But it does fit. I kept the governor in, drilled out main jet to .041" and man o man the mini bike has a super crisp throttle response. One down two to go + paint and safety stuff.

I shared the drag race poster with a Texan from a FB group I'm in. I think he said he was from the Houston area, but said he was going to make it to the races

I believe the FB group was MINI BIKE NATION, he asked if anybody was near Houston so I posted the poster you shared. It might be like 3-4 hr drive for him. I dunno?

On a side note they been asking me to bring mine finished or not. Guess they haven't seen a 7 second minibike before. Hahaha

Making progress. Going to call this one “The Punisher” I’m really liking how the colors are turning out now.

Made it out to the flat track races in New Braunfels on Saturday. Races were entertaining. Couple of down the stretch last second wins, a driver losing control, minor fender benders and some minor injuries (one guy laid his bike down and his leg bent under it, he was ok).

Kart Fab was out there racing and videoing. Thanks to him for sharing the event details.

So in the third vid, the kid that wins comes from behind when the leader stumbles, but why did he take the turn outside the embankment. Just missed the turn? or rules, or strategy?
