VM 22 help.

I am using a VM22 carb on a modified 160 clone. I can only start the engine with the choke off and holding the throttle partly open. Once the engine is running it wants to stall until the throttle is about half way open. any suggestions as to what I need to adjust/change in the carb.

Have you tried adjusting the idling screw?

Sounds to me the fuel/air mixture is off some... wuts the plug telling ya?
