MIKUNI CARB good or bad for 212 clone ?

Well I just wanted to know what the advantages are of having a mikuni carb on my honda clone 212cc . The go kart runs great right now but this mikuni carb was in the boxes of all the parts that came with my recent go kart purchase.. I thought it may work for a little better throttle response.. what do you guys think

Unless the engine has a whole lot of work done then forget it and leave right in the box where its at.

it does have tons of mods supposedly

the motor is not stock so i may just try it out

Unless the engine is completely modified, like valve springs, billet parts, ect i doubt its needed. If your throttle responce isn't great could be a blocked jet or needs more gas so rejet.
