methanol help

Guys I got a racing go kart and the guy I got it from said that he ran methanol in it and he told me to use it also but where I live it very hard to find methanol so is it going to hurt the motor if I run regular gas in it I would only use 93oc or higher with a octane booster thanks for ur time

Just about any Drag Strip will be selling it. Some oil suppliers will also carry it. Race Car shops may have info on were to buy Alki.

Carburetor will have to be rejetted and compression may have to be lowered.
Also, check to see if advance timing key is in place.

where can I find that I know its got a sticker on the body that says quick change gear system and yea theres a blue pice of alum or metal in between the carb and motor where the carb attaches to the motor is that the key

I was referring to the flywheel key which is located under the flywheel.
