I have the Ace 250. It is a great little machine. I found this sterling silver ring yesterday in the Botanical Gardens. It had been hit by a lawnmower. I found it about 4 inches down

nice! yea deep digger dan says the electrics are every bit as good as the more expensive stuff. its just the exterior plastics and stuff are crappy so thats where they save the money. but i know the garretts are like the most popular detectors

I got an ace 250 a few weeks ago and already found tons of stuff. this is all from my property too. I only went out to a playground once. It gets pennies like crazy. most of the coins i got are around the 60s but go back to 39. Got a silver baby rattle out of the back yard on the first day. also found a few cap guns and an old brass cow bell. I got a bunch more than the pics show but you get the idea. a million times better than my old detector that all i found was rusty nails

Awesome finds!! I have found a whole bunch of things since my last post, but the best was a Samsung S3 32GB cellphone. It was about half a foot under the sand at the beach. I thought for sure that it would not work, as I think it had been cevered with the high tide going over it several times. Would you believe it that it actually worked, and I am now using it as my primary phone

Last weekend I also found a 2 Shilling piece from 1957 which is also a rare find here

The 250 is a great little machine, and I love it. I would like to get a bigger coil, but the one I have now is fine. I have also just bought a Cscope CS4PI, which is a beach machine. I am looking forward to trying it out some more though

one time i found a set of braces for someones teeth. but the weirdest thing i have found was a top half a ww2 tank about 4 ft in the ground in the swamp couldn't find the other half. off it whent to the scrap yard.:)

I found what I think is old tank tracks in the mud over in my part of town.. either that, or some old tracks to some old machine that was apart of cutting down all the trees around here 60+ years ago. Most likely an old machine for clearing the trees... :lolgoku:

also, 2 car battery's + gokart + giant homemade detector coils with all the bells and whistles! GOKART METAL DETECTING!
